The Cel-Fi generally shows E12 when there is a minor fault with antenna system which includes antenna/cables/antenna ports.
Please follow the steps below if possible.
- Turn off the unit
- Disconnect both the antenna cables from the unit
- Connect the antenna cables back slowly
- Power on the unit and check if the error is gone or not
If the unit is still showing E12 and you have a spare antenna
- Please swap it with internal antenna
- Recycle the power and check if it fixes the error, if not try the same test swapping the external antenna.
If you do not have a spare antenna:
- Turn off the unit
- Disconnect the internal antenna
- Power on the unit, if the error is gone then the internal antenna is faulty.
- If not resolved, Turn off the unit again
- Disconnect the external antenna
- Connect the internal antenna into the external port and put the internal antenna outside where tower signal is available
- Power on the unit if the error is gone and the unit is receiving signal, then the external antenna is faulty.
Test results will need to be attached to your support request along with screenshots of the main dashboard page where the E12 error is displayed
