All Cel-Fi systems must be registered in Australia.
Why do I have to register my Cel-Fi?
Because cellular systems are protected assets of the Operators that own them. Many boosters in the market cause problems for those networks (which means all of us using the networks too) and if something does go wrong the carrier may need the location of your unit.
Nextivity Cel-Fi systems are the only legal boosters approved by both the ACMA and the Operator for use in Australia.
How do I have to register my Cel-Fi?
This can be done simply by downloading and registering via the Cel-Fi WAVE app on your phone from the app store.
The process is very simple and should take no more than a few minutes. You should only need to do this once. However, if you move the unit to another location after it's been registered it may consequently become location locked by your carrier who may require you to register again (stationary units only)
Please Note: You will need a reliable internet connection to complete the registration process. If you purchased your Cel-Fi system through a reseller and do not have access to a reliable internet service we recommend asking your reseller to register the unit on your behalf prior to shipping or installation.
After registering a stationary unit, users will have 32 hours of operation before the device will lock to the serving towers. This allows for the reseller to register units with customers address and contact details prior to delivery to the customer.
