Please note the WAVE app is purely for registration, monitoring and diagnostic purposes only. Once registration has been completed it is not required to connect to or operate the Cel-Fi system.
- Please check the Cel-Fi is turned on.
- Wave app connects to Cel-Fi via Bluetooth signal, so the phone needs to be within 10m of the Cel-FI unit. For Cel-Fi PRO stay close to CU (Coverage Unit/smaller unit).
- You do not need to manually pair the Cel-FI unit for Bluetooth connection, just turn on the Bluetooth and open the wave app. The wave app will find the unit and pair up automatically.
- Only one device can connect to the Cel-Fi via the WAVE app at a time.
- You may need to disconnect from other Bluetooth devices in order to run the WAVE app. Just follow the prompts on your phone.
- Restarting/rebooting Phone help to clear up bluetooth connection cache which may cause connection issue
- Uninstalling and re-installing the CEL-FI Wave app will reset any permission issue which may cause connection issue.
- Trying a different mobile device will eliminate the possibility of any particular mobile device having issue with bluetooth module.
- There are some other applications with similar name, CEL-FI MyWave, CEL-FI Wave PRO - these are for different devices and will not connect to CEL-FI GO, GO2, GO4, PRO units.
